Gloucester City Library
The library has 35 computers for public use. To use a computer, please ask at the Circulation Desk. There is no specific time limit on computer use but a first-on first-off policy applies during extremely busy periods. Non-members may use our computers as Visitors for limited periods of time, depending on availability. Non-members are asked to join the library if they will be using the computers on a regular basis. If you will be listening to audio, you must use earphones. Printing is available from most computers at 15 cents per page for black and white, and $1 per page for color. Saving to the hard drive is blocked on most library computers. On these computers, you may save to a flash drive or floppy disk. Floppy disks are available at the library for $1 each. On five computers, saving to the hard drive and cd burning is available. CD-R disks are available at the library for $1 and CD-RW disks are available for $2. See our Wireless page to find out how to connect your laptop to our wireless internet network. The library offers a rotating series of computer training sessions, Meet the Computer, Email Basics, Microsoft Word, and Online Job Search. Monthly schedules are available in the Gloucester City News, on the bulletin board in the library entrance, and on our What's New At the Library page. Our page of help for Computer Newbies
