You can search for and read the full text of articles from about the past two years, at Courier Post Online. There is a charge for articles over seven days old. Obituaries are kept online for 365 days. Very recent obituaries are free to access; older ones cost $2.95 as of October, 2009. Some articles, as far back as 1995, are available free through Google News Archives. Along with your search terms (and date range if you wish), enter Cherry Hill Courier Post in the field for Source. News Library includes the Courier Post from 1999. Searching is free, but there is a cost to access the full-text articles. Once registered, you may save searches, your search history and articles all in one place. The public may access full-text archives (no images) without charge at Rutgers' Robeson Library in Camden and the Camden County Library in Voorhees from 1999 to present, through the Newsbank database. The Courier Post is available on microfilm from 1876-1889, 1923-1931, and 1946-present at the Camden Free Public Library on Federal Street. Rutgers' Robeson Library in Camden has the Courier-Post on microfilm back to 1909. The Camden County Historical Society has the Courier-Post on microfilm from 1892 to 1959, in addition to other Camden County area newspapers. The Camden County Library, Voorhees, has the Courier Post on microfilm 1949 to present. To find an article from 1945 to the present, you can use CamdenBase, which indexes selected articles about Camden and the surrounding area from the Courier Post. Camden Free Public Library also has a card catalog which indexes selected articles about Camden in the Courier Post from 1970-1990. The catalog is located in the Reference Department.
