We offer online resources and one-on-one help in the library. The lab is free and open to anyone ages 16 or older! No library card or proof of income or residency is required. Digital LiteracyWould you like to become more familiar with your cell phone, smart phone, tablets, computer, or the Internet ? Do you want to connect with friends and family through social media or video calls? Need a certification to show your Microsoft skills to employers? We can help you get more out of your technology, no matter what your current skill level is! Adult LiteracyAre you hoping to further your education with a GED/HSE, college degree, or other certification ? Want to learn a new language or brush up on your skills in math, reading, or writing? Your library has many options for self-guided study and one-on-one support to help you achieve these goals. EmploymentAre you looking for a new job? Do you want to improve your resume and cover letters ? Do you need help navigating online job postings and networking? Are you looking for someone to practice your interview skills with? Our Labor and Literacy Guide can assist with these and other parts of the job search process. Get ConnectedWe can also help you get a device or internet connection! You can use our computers, borrow a Wifi hotspot from the library, or visit the resources below to find out about free or reduced prices on phone and internet services. These services can cost as little as $10 per month for households that have a low income, receive government assistance, or have a K-12 or college student living in their home.

Register Now for Free Digital Literacy BootcampGloucester City Library is partnering with the New Jersey State Library to provide an IC3 Digital Literacy Bootcamp! This is a FREE, online computer course for adults looking to improve their computer skills. We will cover computer basics, online security, social media, Microsoft Office, and many other topics which can help you succeed at work or communicate with family and friends. The course will run from May 24 to July 21. Classes will be held online every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM. In-person and online tutoring will be available for anyone who needs extra help. Please sign up using the form here .
